Violence against women and girls pledge

Help us end male violence against women and girls  - sign our pledge

One of the recommendations of the Commission is to collaborate with partners across the city and with people with lived experience to define, design and implement a Charter Mark scheme.

Whilst this scheme is being developed, we are asking organisations across the city to sign a pledge, outlining their support for the recommendations made by the Commission, pledging that they will work towards being an organisation / business that aims to be in a position to:

  • Provide a named responsible person to champion and lead activity
  • Adopt the Violence Against Women and Girls Charter Mark Scheme when it launches
  • Not tolerate sexist or misogynistic language and behaviour
