Harewood Park

Harewood Park is located in the centre of Plympton, next to the Ridgeway shopping centre on the site of the original Harewood Manor House which was partially destroyed by fire in 1985.

Modern Harewood House is a community facility available for hire whilst the former manor grounds are now home to Plympton library as well as several sporting facilities including tennis, bowls, swimming and cricket.

St Mary's Church overlooks the cricket pitch and there is a woodland walk along the Tory Brook.

Dogs are required to be kept on a lead:

  • in some of our parks
  • within the marked pitch/playing area of our sports pitches

Dogs are excluded from enclosed children’s play areas and sports facilities. Visit our Dog Control page for full details.
